I just returned from our town's annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony. As usual, it was respectful and well received, with close to the same numbers of attendees as in years past. And as in years past, I ask myself why everyone isn't there. We cannot forget the horror of that day, and equally important, the bravery of the rescuers as well as all of the civilians who gave their lives to protect others. As a firefighter myself, I stand in awe of their courage in a situation too horrible to imagine.

Thank you for posting this. I had not seen this documentary before and it served as an important reminder for me.
