Frontloading Surgical Performance

I must say, in all the years I have been practicing medicine, I have never seen a "thank you" gift delivered before surgery, but recently, our team got delivered this:

Needless to say, I was floored.

But then I read the note, which was priceless:

Fortunately, all ended well, and no "oops" were had.

But talk about the pressure to perform well!

That seems like a pretty cool guy.

This sounds like a great idea. I'm definitely doing this if I'm ever a patient

This is remarkable. It's amazing how things have changed. Gifts for physicians were a regular thing. Our relationship with patients has changed so much.
