More on Medtronic's DTC Campaign

Well, the corporate message has definitely been delivered to the minions. Our Medtronic rep was in clinic yesterday. I expressed my displeasure with the DTC campaign and asked that she convey my feedback to the powers that be. She spouted out the same drivel that is in this article..."it's a message of awarness". My thought was baloney (well not quite that PC).
She did report that there had been both favorable and unfavorable feedback from her sites. (Suspect that some EP docs won't view it quite as negatively since it may ultimately increase their bottom line).
