Movin' On

Well here's my last (poor) photo of my current location. It's another clue, you see it's the side view of a local convention center. Note also it's SUNNY, and WARM here. But I must go. On to my next road warrior location (stay tuned). Oh, the ducks seen of the prior photo? They're on a roof-top of my hotel here. Check the comments for the where this is if you give up...

"The Legend of the Ducks

In the 1930s, Frank Schutt, General Manager of The Peabody, and a friend, Chip Burwick, returned from a weekend hunting trip to Arkansas. The men had a little too much Tennessee sippin' whiskey and thought it would be funny to place their live decoy ducks (live decoys were legal at the time) in the beautiful Peabody fountain. Three small English call ducks were selected as "guinea pigs," and the reaction was nothing short of enthusiastic. Thus began a Peabody tradition which was to become internationally famous."

Location: Peabody Hotel, Orlando, FL.

I've been to the Orlando Convention Center. It's HUGE! Hope you're able to check it out.

Hopefully, I'll be going to the Peabody in Memphis in the spring for a meeting there. I'm trying to work that out in my schedule. I really want to see that "ducks thing" up close.
