Wow, indeed. But, how would it taste? Ever notice that food coloring has an unpleasant metallic bite to it? Some people like that Red Velvet cake but as far as I'm concerned, it tastes unpleasantly like barium sulfate, while appearing an (old, deoxygenated) blood red.
