They don't look all *that* cheap. I intentionally got a green 'scope and have my name on it ... less likely to end up in someone elses pocket.

That's a REALLY interesting dialectic usage of "lent"! In many parts of the US, that sounds wrong, but I'm guessing in your part it's common?

For highly trained specialists, you EP docs certainly have a propensity for walking around without the basic necessities for performing your job on the wards. Luckily our main EP guy (and my personal cardiologist- though I know that he often regrets that) is nice enough to promptly return the tools that he "borrows". He also knows that none of us is above a page summoning him back.
