Time to Say a Techno-Goodbye?

Increasingly, I find myself receiving direct calls, text messages, and de-identified images from colleages and support staff via cellphone. Really, it won't be long until I say goodbye to a permanent fixture on my belt that I have worn for years:

Good riddance!

I want to video the flight of my beeper AND my phone as they sail through the air and land in the Barren River on the day of my retirement. I want to be buried with it, so I can watch it in the afterlife as a pleasurable passtime!

And the cell phone will be obsolete when all the health care "professionals" work for the government and will be implanted with GPS transmitters and an intra-cerebral beeper. Not only can't you turn your beeper off, they'll know where you are every minute.
You'll be on call F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!
