First it was digitek, then generic Toprol ER, now it's digoxin from Caraco Pharmaceuticals.
Caraco Digoxin 0.125 mg is a scored round biconvex yellow tablet imprinted with “437” and Caraco Digoxin 0.25 mg is a scored round biconvex white tablet imprinted with “441.”
Fortunately, alternate generic suppliers of digoxin exist and include Actavis Totawa, Smithkline Beecham, Jerome Stevens, and West Ward.

"Actavis Totowa (formerly known as Amide Pharmaceutical, Inc.) recalls all lots of Bertek and UDL Laboratories Digitek (digoxin tablets, USP) as a precaution--"discontinued this time last year, not available.
West-ward doesn't make them anymore.
Jerome Stevens (Lannett) has increased production, but in short supply.
Brand name IS available.
I'm a pharmacy tech--trust me, spent a lot of time switching people over to brand today, and collecting the recalled product!
