The Nightly News

Now that the stimulus bill has passed and President Obama has promised another $638 billion for a health care reserve fund, perhaps we could put a down-payment on the largess granted by the packages by changing the format of our evening news programs.

In case you missed the news last night, I've compiled the entire informative content in a short video that lasts a little over a minute (with apologies to Itzhak Perlman):

-Wes

Addendum: NYT: "The pharmaceutical industry spent nearly $4.8 billion last year on television and print ads, according to Nielsen Media Research."

Dear Dr. Wes,

I completely agree and further more add that I am very patriot to the principle foundings of our country that are in a grip of rapid and despairing socialistic takeover.
I really feel for the medical practice in their private care let alone small business and then the whole lot of it all.

That being said, I just wanted to say Hi. A little bird (Dr Mottl) told me this past Thursday evening that you had a blog and wondered if I knew. I said no, BUT, I said if anyone was more suited it would be you! So, thanks and Congrats. I have also found you elsewhere too!
Dr. Mottl was the attending on call Thursday evening when I was admitted. One thing after another and I feel I need to see you soon so will. In the meantime, great blog and I just love the tee-shirt business of your wife's and your's. I could add a few thoughts for newer ones to evolve but will keep it private for now.

Great Job. I knew you were an ace the moment I saw you even years ago even though I could be contancerous. Oh, the joys of patient care".....

Flip thru the Reader's Digest in your office some day, I once counted 47 drug ads in one issue!
