I hope it is a comfort to picture your dad soaring effortlessly in the great beyond. You were a wonderful son to him.

God bless him, and God bless you and your family. Your writing about him was quite breathtaking, and a true credit to the man your father helped you become.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Good luck to you and the family. I'm not going to handle it well when this happens in my family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is wonderful, though, that he passed on peacefully with those he loved nearby.

I am new to your blog, but lost my father in a similar manner 5 years ago. It fades but never really goes away. You and your mother are in my thoughts.
