Guys: Finally Some News You Can Use

I'm not making this up. From the American Journal of Cardiology:
"In multivariate models adjusted for age, covariates, ED (erectile dysfunction), and the Framingham risk score, a low frequency of sexual activity in men (once a month or less vs ≥2 times weekly) was associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) (hazard ratio 1.45, 95% confidence interval 1.04 to 2.01)."
And yes, the lead author was a woman.

Honey, you readin' this?

what does that hazard ratio and confidence interval stuff mean?
if i am going to present this properly to the wife, i want to make sure she can't back out on a technicality.

Delve into the nuances of study design and statistics at your own peril. Instead, point to the fact the article was from a reputable cardiology journal and that half the authors were women. Roses might work, too.

Wishing you the best....

My reading of the fact that these articles are being authored by women is that these authors might be asking for something more from their men.
