I hope every working U.S. physician takes 9 minutes to view this video on why the lawsuits against the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) member boards were filed and why those lawsuits are so important to our profession.
Please view and share with your colleagues.
An update on the status of those lawsuits will appear on this blog's pages soon.

Very well done. Informative and to the point. To level the playing field money is needed for the lawsuits. Corruption is the new normal for the ABMS they really need to be stopped or the consequences won't be good for healthcare and the profession of medicine.. (The luxury condo was three bedroom and it is a big scandal then and even now, because they don't address it by releasing any documents about its personal/political uses by the ABIM executives and others.)
ReplyDeleteMy current ABIM certification ends in December 2026. I will retire early and have no plans to do MOC or retake the exam. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours [thousands?] dealing with this crap.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to the new physicians. I agree with Wes that this is the time to fight.
