ReplyDeleteI decided a long time ago to quit worrying about my diet. I was raised on country cooking. The smell of frying bacon in the morning is enough to prevent sludge in my salivary ducts. I eat red meat more than twice a week and am proud of my support of the beef and pork industry! If I die today, you can rest assured that I will go a happy man with a smile on my face and a little dribble of gravy down my chin!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I doubt that turkey fries are any better than rooster fries or pig fries.
I have to say that the deep fried peaches are the most interesting item. I was raised in the south so I know all about cooking vegetables with bacon, but I have to say that I didn't actually know you could deep fry a peach.
