As crazy as his life was, I'm sorry to hear that he died at 50. That's damned young. But as far as causes of death go, remember what they said about Jerry Garcia: "He was not killed by the pot, but by the brownies."
I'm glad I no longer live in WLA. Can you imagine trying to be a nurse or doctor trying to get to and from the UCLA med center campus with all the mayhem?

Wow. Now for the toxicology studies...
ReplyDeleteCNN hasn't confirmed it yet, but paramedics found him not breathing and it took them 10 minutes to get there. Controversy aside, he is a legend. Sad.
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought, Dr. Wes. Hard to believe the freakshow that is/was Michael Jackson would die of a simple MI.
ReplyDeleteUsually I think Billy Joel was right (Only The Good Die Young), but there's always an exception...
'A simple MI'
ReplyDeleteI've never seen someone describe it as simple. Makes you wonder what COD would have sufficed.

Certainly better from an insurance standpoint to die of MI than drug OD. Seems there were lots of legal concerns at the moment.
ReplyDeleteStill, peak heart attack season is age 40-60 in men.
As I suspected originally.
