I am new to your blog, but lost my father in a similar manner 5 years ago. It fades but never really goes away. You and your mother are in my thoughts.
Dad had the perfect glideslope and touched down at 5:07 PM CST tonight - on Peace Day.
I hope it is a comfort to picture your dad soaring effortlessly in the great beyond. You were a wonderful son to him.
