Standing up for the practicing physician
Ugh! Dr. Wes, that makes my skin crawl. Have you tried your recipes yet?
I heard someone on the radio describing cicadas as tasting like peanuts.Would you agree?
I'm gonna eat one soon. Any minute. Really. I'll let you know. Really. Any minute now... I've heard the flavor depends on how they're prepared: fried, pureed, or as a fricassee...
yuck Dr. Wes...The looks of them is bad enough but the thought of eating them = bleh!! They could taste like jumbo cashews, and I still wouldn't try them.
People don't stop to think that when we eat lobster and crab, we're eating big juicy bugs. Their land-lubber cousins aren't much different. That said ... I'm not any closer to feasting on these little buggies either ... ;o)
