Northwestern University Professor Richard Silverman is donating royalties he receives from the drug Lyrica to help pay for the construction of a new science research building in Evanston.Now, back to my patent work...
Silverman developed Lyrica, a drug used to combat epilepsy and neuropathic pain that is sold by Pfizer Inc. University officials did not disclose the amount of Silverman's donation, but they said it would help fund the construction of the $100 million facility.
