Interesting read from the NY Times on 22 March 2006 from Peter Salgo who makes a plea for a patient-directed revolution to fix the health care system by firing you doctor if you don't like him... Most docs I know spend alot more than "7 minutes" with their patients.... No doubt health care has changed, not necessarily for the better, but is this the answer? Plenty of people had some good points regarding this article in today's NY Times op-ed page. What do you think?
