It provides access and adheres to all the laws around this data. Lets face it, do we as physicians want our patients obsessing over device based information that out of context to a clinical assessment could be misleading?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18943510.post-18420909908392134252012-11-29T16:08:46.187-06:002012-11-29T16:08:46.187-06:00I'm with Hugo. I want my own data, for a million reasons, including having had a parameter mis-set that resulted in several months of . . . well, if I posted the ventricular histogram, you'd get it. And that was at the Cleveland Clinic, not some chop shop. There's no perfection out there, & if we inform & protect ourselves as patients, we also protect our docs. If I want to see a record from my recent device implantation, I have to travel to Birmingham to view it at the company where the reports are wearhoused. Or I could ask them to semd me a copy for $250. Patients still only have access to their record only if they have a doctor willing to share.Lisa https://www.blogger.com/profile/09324961653370110887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18943510.post-83520973789779619472012-11-29T08:21:55.515-06:002012-11-29T08:21:55.515-06:00Don't worry - someone will build an app that g...Don't worry - someone will build an app that grabs the data and that will be that.
